What 쾜 means
It gives one syllable, not a full word translation.
The three Hangul letters (jamo) in 쾜 are ㅋ, ㅙ, and ㅁ: a starting consonant, a vowel, and an ending consonant. The block is one part of Korean spelling; the surrounding word supplies the meaning.
A royal record from 1443 names Hunminjeongeum, the new Korean writing system; a 1446 book explains its letters, sounds, and syllable-building rules. The system was designed to make Korean speech easier to write and learn because Chinese characters did not fit Korean well. It moved from a new teaching tool to everyday Korean writing, while its blocks continued to assemble sounds from parts.
Why is 쾜 written as one block?
Hangul packs a syllable’s parts into one compact block.
In 쾜, ㅋ and ㅙ form the upper area, with final ㅁ below. Unicode supports the precomposed block and a canonically equivalent sequence of Hangul letters called jamo; text software can store either spelling for the same syllable.
The square Phags-pa script was used in the Mongol-led Yuan empire for multilingual administration. Korean scholarship treats it as a possible influence on Hangul, not an established direct ancestor. A similar shape alone does not prove descent.
Neutral in Korean text; alone, it gives spelling and sound, not a social tone.
Read the isolated block as part of a Korean word; it has no full word translation.

1Why does 쾜 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
