What 큂 means
Type ㅋ ㅟ ㄿ in a Korean input method.
On the Korean 2-set keyboard layout, type znlfv: z produces ㅋ, nl produces ㅟ, and fv produces the final consonant cluster ㄿ. With Korean input turned on, the input method combines the parts into one block.
Does 큂 have a standalone meaning?
It is one Hangul syllable block, not a standalone word.
큂 combines an initial consonant, the vowel ㅟ, and the final consonant cluster ㄿ. Hangul is the Korean alphabet; each block represents one syllable, and this block alone has no standard Korean word meaning.
Hangul was promulgated in Joseon in 1446 to write Korean speech. Earlier Korean writing also used Chinese characters, but Hangul's letter shapes were not directly derived from them; the two writing traditions coexisted rather than one descending from the other.
Why does 큂 look different in different fonts?
Fonts position the same letters differently inside the block.
Hangul arranges letters into a square cell for each syllable. Font shaping positions ㅋ, ㅟ, and ㄿ within that cell, so their spacing and visual weight can vary while the encoded character remains 큂.

Questions people ask
1Why does 큂 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
