What 냃 means
It has no fixed meaning by itself. 냃 combines ㄴ, ㅐ, and the final cluster ㅀ. The Unicode label “naelh” names this structure; it is not a translation.
Hangul was designed as an easier-to-learn, sound-based way to write Korean alongside Chinese-character writing. It was devised in 1443; Hunminjeongeum, its guide, appeared in 1446. Modern spelling follows a unified draft from 1933, revised in 1988. In Middle Korean, ㅐ was a diphthong (a vowel that glides between sounds); after the 17th century, it became one steady vowel.

Questions people ask
1Why does 냃 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
