What 놠 means
Its name describes how Hangul letters fit together. Hangul writes Korean syllables in blocks. Its letters are called jamo: 놠 combines initial ᄂ, vowel ᅪ, and final consonant cluster ᆳ. Unicode’s generated label “Nwals” names these components, not a Korean word.
Hangul’s design and explanatory manuscript history spans 1443–1446. The Hunminjeongeum, a text explaining Korean writing, describes syllable blocks as a way to make writing easier to learn.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
