What 눦 means
Alone, 눦 does not identify what the sender means.
It combines ㄴ (starting consonant), ㅝ (vowel), and ㄶ (two-consonant ending). Fonts may change their outline, but not these roles.
The first historical record of Hangul dates to 1443; the explanatory book Hunminjeongeum followed in 1446 to make Korean writing accessible. Earlier systems called idu, hyangchal, and gugyeol adapted Chinese characters to write Korean. Hangul became Joseon's national writing system in 1894 and regained that role after 1945.

1Why does 눦 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
