What 뉭 means

Alone, 뉭 marks one Korean syllable sound, not a whole word meaning.

Hangul is the Korean writing system. It groups consonant and vowel letters, called jamo, into syllable blocks; this one contributes a syllable to the larger word.

How did Hangul take shape?

Hangul was designed to make Korean easier to write and learn.

Before Hangul, Korean writing relied mainly on Chinese characters. King Sejong's script, first called Hunminjeongeum, began in 1443; the 1446 book of the same name explained its purpose and principles. Hangul became Korea's official national writing system in 1894.

The same syllable can be stored as one block or as ᄂ ᅱ ᆼ; fonts may arrange its parts differently.
