What 녅 means
Hangul syllables combine letters called jamo.
Initial ㄴ, vowel ㅕ and final cluster ㄵ form 녅. The Unicode label “nyeonj” describes these parts, not a translation.
The earliest Hangul record is from 1443; the explanatory book Hunminjeongeum appeared in 1446. The alphabet was designed to make Korean easier to write than with Chinese characters. Earlier names included Hunminjeongeum and eonmun; “Hangeul” emerged as a name at the beginning of the 1910s.
Neutral in Korean writing; the surrounding word gives it a role.
Alone, it may look like a typo or fragment.
