What 퓎 means
It fills one syllable position inside a Korean word or name. Hangul groups consonants and vowels into blocks: ㅍ starts 퓎, ㅟ is its vowel, and ㄲ closes it.
Hangul was designed to make Korean easier to write than the Chinese-character system used at the time. Its creation is dated to 1443, and it was promulgated in 1446.
Text may store a Hangul syllable as one block or as joined component letters. Fonts arrange the parts differently, so the block can look different.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
Codes and encoding1 code points
