What 뤃 means

It is a Hangul syllable block, not a standalone word.

The block combines three Korean letters, called jamo: ㄹ begins it, ㅜ sits in the middle, and ㅎ closes it.

As of 2026, no fixed slang meaning is established for this exact block. If it appears alone in a message, ask what Korean word or name it belongs to; the surrounding text supplies the meaning.

How do I type 뤃?

Enter ㄹ, ㅜ, and ㅎ with a Korean IME. A Korean IME, or input method editor, joins those letters into one syllable block as you type.

On Windows, select the Korean Microsoft IME, switch the keyboard from A to 가, and type the letters in order.

Hangul was made to write Korean

Hangul's creation and explanatory guide date to 1443 and 1446: King Sejong created the writing system in 1443, and its guide, Hunminjeongeum, appeared in 1446. Before Hangul, Korean writers used Chinese characters, sometimes adapted for Korean in systems called Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal. Hangul was designed for Korean and to make learning to write easier.

Hangul appeared in Buddhist and Confucian texts, then in practical writing such as labels, letters, and daily records. Historical records show its use across social ranks and by women and men. Chinese characters remained central in official writing until 1894, when Hangul became Korea's national writing system. A Korean encyclopedia records a debated proposal that the Phags-pa script, used under Mongol Yuan rule, influenced Hangul's design. That is a proposed connection between writing systems, not evidence that this individual block came from Phags-pa.

Neutral in Korean text; by itself, it gives no reliable emotional cue.

If it arrives alone, ask what Korean word or name it belongs to before guessing intent.
