What 럣 means

A Hangul block combines an initial consonant, vowel, and final consonant.

The three letters in 럣 are ㄹ, ㅒ, and ㅅ, in that order; together they make one syllable block.

Why was Hangul created?

It let Korean speakers write their language without mastering Chinese characters first.

King Sejong, ruler of the Korean Joseon dynasty, created 28 letters in 1443. The 1446 book 훈민정음 (“Proper Sounds for Teaching the People”) explained their design and how they form syllables. Other historical names included 언문 (“vernacular script”) and 국문 (“national script”). Hangul became Joseon’s official script in 1894 and lost that status under Japanese rule in 1910.

1

Why does 럣 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
