What 쐰 means
쐰 is a form of the Korean verb 쐬다. In 바람을 쐰 뒤 (“after getting fresh air”), it marks an action already completed; 쐰다 is another form of the same verb. 쐬다 means to be directly exposed to air, smoke or sunlight.
Hangul was devised under King Sejong in 1443 to write Korean with a dedicated alphabet; the 1446 Hunminjeongeum guide explained how letters build syllable blocks. Older spellings of 쐬다 appear in texts from the 15th century; today’s spelling is recorded from the 17th century.
