What 쑦 means
It joins three Hangul letter parts.
Hangul is Korea’s writing system; it groups an initial consonant, a vowel, and sometimes a final consonant into one block. 쑦 is ㅆ ㅜ ㄲ.
Why was Hangul created?
To make Korean easier to write than with Chinese-character methods.
Hangul was devised in 1443 and introduced in 1446. After 1446, it served religious texts, practical knowledge, novels, and official writing.
It developed alongside Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal, Korean adaptations of Chinese characters. A proposed link to the Mongolian Phags-pa script is debated, not established ancestry.
