쒄 is a Hangul syllable block in the Korean writing system, made from three letters. In a Korean word it contributes one syllable; on its own, its context is unclear, and no fixed chat meaning is established as of 2026-09-13. Hangeul’s block design dates to its creation in 1443 and the 1446 guide Hunminjeongeum.

What 쒄 means

It is one Korean syllable, built from three Hangul letters.

The letters ㅆ, ㅝ, and ㄴ combine into one block: a starting consonant, a vowel, and an ending consonant. A Korean IME takes them in that order and assembles the block as you type.

No fixed chat meaning is established for 쒄 on its own as of 2026-09-13; a surrounding Korean word or sentence is needed to tell what a sender intended.

How did Hangul syllable blocks develop?

Hangeul was designed to write Korean sounds with letters grouped into syllables.

Before Hangeul, Korean was written with Chinese characters. Systems such as idu, hyangchal, and gugyeol adapted those characters to record Korean speech and grammar. Hangeul gave Korean sound-based letters that could be arranged into syllable blocks.

In late 1443, a Korean court record says the new letters had been invented. Hunminjeongeum, completed in 1446, explained their sound principles and how to assemble them into syllables. Later spelling standards regularized modern usage; older Korean texts may show the letters separately from today's blocks.

Neutral Korean writing; it contributes a syllable when used inside a word.

Alone, it gives no clue which Korean word was intended.
