What 퉂 means
It combines three letters into one Korean sound block. The jamo behind 퉂—ㅌ, ㅜ, and ㅈ—are its first consonant, vowel, and final consonant. “Tuj” labels this pattern, not a word definition.
Hangul’s development was completed in 1443; the Hunminjeongeum manuscript explaining the new writing system was published in 1446. Its design aimed to represent Korean speech more directly than Chinese characters and widen literacy. Hangul blocks have represented native Korean and Sino-Korean syllables; Unicode preserves that pattern in a precomposed Hangul block.
Neutral Korean spelling: the block represents syllable sounds and carries no built-in emotional tone.
