What 톈 means
It spells “tian” inside a Chinese name.
It is a sound-bearing block, not a Korean word to translate alone. A 1939 Chinese textbook records 天 as 텐 or 톈; Korean place-name writing uses 톈진.
Hangul was created in 1443 and explained in 1446 to widen literacy. Its parts are component jamo; decomposed Jamo can display as the same block but store differently. The exact first manuscript use is unestablished as of 2026.
Inside a name, neutral; alone, it looks unfinished.
Do not send it alone as a reaction.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
