What 툝 means
It is one written syllable in the Korean alphabet. Jamo—Hangul’s letters—combine inside the block; its meaning depends on the Korean spelling where it appears.
Hangul was created under King Sejong because Chinese-character writing and earlier adaptations made Korean less accessible to ordinary people. The key dates are 1443 and 1446: the system was completed in 1443, and Hunminjeongeum, a guide introducing it, was published in 1446. Its first account describes a sound-based system. Modern Korean spelling also preserves word forms, so written and spoken syllable boundaries do not always match.
How do I type 툝?
A Korean keyboard builds it from jamo in sequence. On the standard two-set layout, type X Y F X: ㅌ ㅛ ㄹ ㅌ. The input method joins the last two consonants into the final cluster ㄾ and forms one syllable block.
Unicode treats the prebuilt block and its valid sequence of jamo as equivalent text. Text normalization may store either form; when separate jamo are left uncombined, fonts or apps can display them differently.
