Alone, 튥 is a Korean Hangul syllable block, not a complete message. As of 2026, this exact block has no established standalone Korean word or chat meaning. In standard two-set Dubeolsik input, its components are entered with x b f r and composed into one block.

What 튥 means

튥 is one Korean syllable block built from three components.

Its Unicode components are ᄐ ᅲ ᆰ: three Hangul letters, called jamo—a starting consonant, a vowel, and a final consonant cluster. The final ㄺ belongs inside this same block.

Where did this block come from?

The block follows Hangul's 1443–1446 design; it was not a separate invention. Earlier Korean writing used Chinese characters and systems such as Idu, Hyangchal, and Gugyeol, which adapted those characters to write Korean speech. King Sejong's project created a small, learnable alphabet for reading, writing, education, and communication. Records place Hangul's creation in 1443 and its explanatory work in 1446.

Hangul's role widened through use. Early books included Buddhist scriptures; later translations carried Confucian writing. After the Imjin War, Japan's invasions of Korea in the late 16th century, print spread practical knowledge, laws, and institutional information. Hangul became official national writing in 1894. These dates track the script's changing reach, not a new meaning for 튥.

How do I type 튥?

Switch to Korean input, then type ㅌ, ㅠ, ㄹ, ㄱ. On the standard two-set Dubeolsik keyboard, the keys are x b f r; a Korean IME (input method) joins ㄹ and ㄱ as the final cluster ㄺ and composes the block. No separate combine key is needed.

At Unicode level, 튥 is a precomposed LVT syllable: an initial consonant, vowel, and final consonant cluster. Normalization can split it into ᄐ ᅲ ᆰ or recompose it. A raw-text view may show the jamo separately; the decomposed sequence and the block are canonically equivalent.

Why is 튥 a box on my screen?

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
