What ⚵ means
It centers a reading on commitment and the terms of partnership.
Astrologers use Juno in a birth chart—a map of the sky at someone's birth—to examine what makes a lasting bond feel mutual: loyalty, equality, fairness, and compromise. It can also bring attention to betrayal, power, or unequal treatment. ⚵ marks a topic for interpretation, not a promise of marriage or a forecast of a relationship's outcome.
Its zodiac sign or house narrows the question; a house is an area of life in the chart, so it points to where the relationship theme may surface.
Why does the Juno glyph look like a star-topped staff?
It began as an emblem in early asteroid astronomy.
A Juno glyph was published in 1804 alongside the newly discovered asteroid, drawn as a staff or scepter topped with a star. It was an astronomical shorthand, not a Roman-era inscription.
By 1852, astronomers proposed numbered asteroid symbols as individual emblems became cumbersome. The earliest four asteroid emblems were for Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta; Juno's old glyph continued mainly in astrology charts.
Astrology-chart notation; outside a chart, its specific reference may not be obvious.

1Why does ⚵ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
