What 𐁆 means
A syllable: 'phu', the special second 'pu'.
Linear B was the Mycenaean Greek palace script, adapted from Crete's older Linear A; its earliest archives sit at Knossos, around 1450 BCE. Signs write syllables; pu₂ sits in a second series for marked sounds; 'phu' is standard, 'bu' an older alternative.
It never stands alone: tablets spell it inside words, most famously in da-pu₂-ri-to-, the word behind 'labyrinth'; one Knossos tablet even records an offering to the Lady of the Labyrinth. A box or blank instead of 𐁆 means the font lacks the script.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𐁆 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
