What 𛊩 means
It writes a local syllable, not one fixed word. A Jiangyong Nüshu dictionary maps it to homophones—Chinese words with the same local pronunciation—including 想 (“think”), 响 (“sound”), and 抢 (“grab”). Context picks the intended word.
Nüshu grew among rural women in Jiangyong, Hunan, adapting Chinese character forms to write local speech; many users could not read Chinese characters. Its beginnings are not firmly dated: the earliest known artifact is a bronze coin minted in 1851–1864, and the first documentary mention is from 1933. Traditional works included songs, sisters’ letters, and wedding messages. Since 2013, Chinese composer Tan Dun’s Nüshu-inspired orchestral work has been performed internationally.

1Why does 𛊩 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
