What 𐌙 means
A k released with a strong puff of air. Etruscan writers used 𐌙, commonly transliterated into Latin letters as kh.
Writing reached Italy in the eighth century BCE. The earliest Etruscan inscriptions date to about 700 BCE, but that does not date 𐌙’s first use. A 2020 study suggests early Etruscan writing may have served multilingual southern Italian cities.
𐌙 also appears in Faliscan, Venetic, Rhaetic and Lepontic; Rhaetic used an inverted form. Regional alphabets had different shapes, so fonts may show another region’s form; language-specific fonts may be needed.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𐌙 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
