What 𐍭 means
One consonant made by moving from t straight to s. Modern Komi Cyrillic Ц marks the same sound, but belongs to a different script.
Stephen of Perm is credited with devising Abur in the 14th century to write Komi and Komi-Permyak, two related languages, and translate Bible and church texts. Its letter order followed Greek and Cyrillic models; many shapes came from Komi tamga, traditional signs used in religious practice.
An inscription on the Zyrianskaya Trinity icon (late 14th century) and a 1486 manuscript note are early surviving evidence. From the 15th century, Abur hid Russian writing from readers who could not read it; Komi use lasted into the 17th century. With a titlo (an overline marking numbers), Tsiu also stood for 300.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𐍭 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
