What ⨮ means
An October 1999 STIX proposal lists both as binary operators. STIX was a project of scientific societies and scientific and technical publishers aimed at a shared font collection and easier exchange of symbols for scientific publishing. Its Unicode request sought codes for mathematical and technical signs. A binary operator combines two values.
