What 🪛 means
Use it for hands-on repair, such as tightening a wobbly chair or opening a PC case. In English, “screw” also has insulting and sexual uses; “a screw loose” suggests someone is acting irrationally. The emoji can play on those meanings, but mentioning an actual screw is still ordinary tool talk.
Why does the handle change color?
Different platforms draw the same tool differently. In 2026, Apple's version had a green handle while other platforms used red. A different handle doesn't mean a different emoji.
Practical by default; cheeky when the wording invites it.
With English “screw” wordplay, 🪛 can suggest “screw you” or sex.
