What 𑩐 means
It writes the standalone vowel sound a in Soyombo.
Soyombo is an abugida: a writing system where consonant letters include a default vowel and added signs change it. 𑩐 can also carry a following vowel sign, letting that sign write another independent vowel.
Where did the Soyombo script come from?
Zanabazar created Soyombo in 1686.
Designed for Mongolian, Tibetan and Sanskrit, the script appears in Buddhist texts and in manuscripts, inscriptions, temples and seals used for ceremonies. Soyombo draws on Devanagari, an Indian abugida, with strong Tibetan influence.
Zanabazar also made the related Zanabazar Square script for these languages; it likely came first.
Is 𑩐 Mongolia’s flag symbol?
No. The flag bears a separate Soyombo head mark.
Soyombo refers both to the writing system and to the distinct head mark used as Mongolia’s national emblem. If someone sends 𑩐 with a flag or emblem question, read it as the letter or a prompt about the script, not as the emblem itself.
A technical letter from a historical writing system; its reading depends on the Soyombo text around it.
