What 𘡾 means
It is a component, not a standalone Tangut word.
As of 2026, it has no assigned word gloss. “Component 127” is a cataloguing label; Tangut reference works also call this kind of indexing component a radical.
The Tangut script was created for the Western Xia (Xixia) state around 1036 to write Tangut, its language. Its signs followed the visual model of Chinese writing but recorded a different language. The state used it in administration and to translate Buddhist and Chinese texts. After 1227, Tangut writing continued under later dynasties; surviving records include administrative documents and Buddhist manuscripts.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘡾 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
