What 𘥑 means
No: it is a structural part used within larger Tangut characters.
Tangut writing was created around 1036 under Western Xia’s first emperor for state-building and a Tangut-language Buddhist canon. The script was visually and structurally inspired by Chinese writing, but it is distinct. It remained in use after Western Xia fell, with evidence as late as 1502.
Scholars use components to look up and describe whole Tangut characters. In Tangut, a component marks structure for lookup; it does not supply the whole character’s meaning. If 𘥑 appears as a blank box or a fallback shape, the font may lack Tangut coverage.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘥑 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
