What 𘪓 means
It indexes and analyzes full Tangut characters. This component’s outline is font-dependent; compare its Unicode identity, U18A93, if the shape looks unfamiliar.
Created around 1036 for Western Xia (Xixia) state-building and a Buddhist canon, Tangut script drew on Chinese and Khitan writing but remained separate and unreadable to readers of either. A text dated 1070/1071 may be its earliest surviving dated example. Later works include Buddhist scriptures, Chinese translations, and secular writing; Tangut appears in Yuan and Ming settings, including a Buddhist inscription from 1502.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘪓 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
