What 𘫑 means
It has no fixed word meaning by itself. Tangut components help scholars organize dictionaries and analyze whole characters.
The Tangut (Xixia) script was created under Western Xia’s first emperor around 1036 to write Tangut. After the Mongol conquest, it continued in the Yuan and Ming dynasties and became obsolete by the end of Ming. Tangut texts include official, private, and religious works. Scholars rediscovered the script in the late 19th century; N. A. Nevskij helped decipher it in the early 20th century.
Why does it show as a square?
A square means the font lacks a Tangut glyph. A Tangut-capable font can display it; the character itself is unchanged.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘫑 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
