Tangut character 𗄶

311/6136

𗄶 is a Tangut character used in a small note meaning “to damage” in one surviving poem. The Tangut script was created in 1036 for the Western Xia state and Buddhist translation, drawing on Chinese writing and following the earlier example of the neighboring Khitan people, who had scripts of their own. It writes Tangut, not Chinese; texts are known through 1502. Its glyph displays only when a font supports Tangut.
