What 𗉑 means
Use Unicode hex input; enter 17251 when the app asks for a code point.
The shortcut for opening that mode depends on your operating system and app. If the character appears as a box, the text may still contain 𗉑; your font may not cover Tangut.
What does 𗉑 mean?
It means “black” in Tangut.
Li Fanwen’s Tangut–Chinese dictionary glosses 𗉑 as “black.” The exact form is cited in the 12th-century Wénhǎi (“Sea of Writing”), a Tangut dictionary arranged around sound and rhyme. During the Western Xia (Xixia) state, 1038–1227, Tangut writing served official and literary life; surviving Tangut books include translations from Chinese and Tibetan.
Historical and specialist; without Tangut context, a bare chat message gives little clue to its meaning.
