What 𗉧 means
It was made to write Tangut for the Western Xia state.
The script was disseminated in 1036 for the Western Xia state, to write Tangut and translate key texts. The earliest surviving Tangut document is dated 1072. Tangut writing continued after the state fell in 1227. Its forms draw on Chinese writing methods. As of 2026, scholarship had not settled whether Tangut writing is directly connected to Khitan writing, another historical script.
Historical and specialist; its “door” reading belongs to Tangut, rather than picturing a door.
When Tangut font support is unavailable, 𗉧 may display as a blank box.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗉧 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
