What 𗋑 means
It means “cloud” in Tangut. A Tangut book that grouped characters by sound, Homophones, recorded it in the 12th century. Scholars reconstruct its Tangut pronunciation differently, so “cloud” is the secure gloss.
Is 𗋑 a Chinese character?
No. It writes Tangut, not Chinese. The Tangut script drew on Chinese character structure but represents the Tangut language of the Western Xia state. It entered official use for correspondence in 1036. A state committee translated Buddhist sutras into Tangut in 1038. Tangut writing continued after Western Xia fell in 1227; the last known Tangut inscription is dated 1502.
Historical and specialist; outside a Tangut text, identify its gloss as “cloud.”
It is a written Tangut word, not a standalone cloud icon.

Questions people ask
1Does 𗋑 display as an emoji?
No. 𗋑 is a Tangut text character, not emoji artwork. Its strokes appear only if the device or app has a Tangut-capable font; a missing-glyph box means the font cannot render it, not that the character changed.
