What 𗋭 means
It is glossed as “to sink” in Tangut. Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut dictionary gives this gloss in its English index.
The character appears in two Tangut reference books from the 12th century: Wénhǎi (“Sea of Writing”) and Tóngyīn (“Homophones”). The Tangut script was commissioned by the Western Xia state for official and cultural writing and modeled on Chinese characters. It writes a separate language, so knowing Chinese characters alone does not make Tangut readable. Tangut script use is conventionally dated 1036 to 1502.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗋭 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
