What 𗌊 means

The documented “water” reading belongs to the pair 𗋫𗌊. That gloss cannot be assigned to 𗌊 alone. Tangut was created in 1036 for the Western Xia state and a Buddhist canon, a collection of Buddhist scriptures, drawing on Chinese and Khitan writing systems. After Western Xia fell in 1227, Tangut continued in manuscripts and Buddhist inscriptions; the latest known inscription is dated 1502.
