What 𗐗 means
Tangut sources gloss it as “to capture” or “to obtain.”
A Tangut word list, like a short dictionary, gives “to capture.” Scholars reconstruct its reading as ²lhuq₄; a Tibetan sound note records lhu.
The rulers of Western Xia, a medieval state, commissioned a script for the Tangut language. It was used from 1036–1502. Its forms follow Chinese models, but Tangut and Chinese are different languages written in different scripts.
Historical dictionary entry; display needs a Tangut-capable font.
Its Chinese-inspired shape is not a Chinese reading guide.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗐗 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
