What 𗓶 means
It means “basket” in Tangut.
Tangut dictionary indexes give Chinese 簍 as its gloss for “basket.” That Chinese character translates the entry but is not another Tangut form.
Is 𗓶 Chinese or Tangut?
It is Tangut, from a separate historical script.
Tangut writing followed a design tradition influenced by Chinese characters, but this glyph is not itself a Chinese character.
Tangut writing took shape around 1036 under the first emperor of the Western Xia state, for government and cultural work. Its written use continued under Yuan and Ming rule before falling out of use.
A historical Tangut word, found in texts and dictionary entries.
簍 is the Chinese gloss; it does not replace 𗓶 in Tangut writing.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗓶 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
