What 𗕰 means
It marks going along a route or continuing on a course. Li Fanwen’s Tangut character index pairs it with the Chinese character 循 as a translation, not an alternate spelling. Scholars reconstruct its reading as lhji̱, an academic transcription written with Latin letters rather than a verified modern pronunciation.
The Tangut script was developed for writing the Tangut language in the Western Xia state around 1036. It served official records and Buddhist translations; the latest known inscription dates to 1502.
