What 𗛃 means
Coming to or reaching a place. It is a Tangut verb. Read it as a historical word, not a standalone reaction or a Chinese shorthand for “arrive.”
Is 𗛃 a Chinese character?
No. It belongs to Tangut, the language of the Western Xia state. The Tangut script was promulgated under Western Xia (Xixia) ruler Li Yuanhao in 1036 for recording events and writing translations. Its strokes and character-building methods drew on Chinese models, but it wrote a different language.
After Western Xia fell in 1227, Tangut writing continued. A Buddhist scripture pillar in Baoding, northern China, is dated 1502.
