What 𗝓 means
A Tangut word for a clay bowl.
Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary glosses 𗝓 as an “earthen bowl,” meaning a bowl made of clay.
Is 𗝓 Chinese or Tangut?
Tangut, a separate script.
Tangut writing was established in 1036 for Western Xia state records and translations. The earliest transmitted Tangut document is an official paper dated 1072. An inscription from 1502 shows the script remained in use long after the state fell. Tangut forms drew on Chinese writing, but they represent a different language.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗝓 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
