What 𗢜 means
“Upright.”
Li Fanwen’s dictionary of the Tangut language lists 𗢜 as entry 3180 and gives the reconstructed reading zjij. This is a scholarly reconstruction, not a pronunciation readers can reliably infer from the spelling.
Tangut is a historical script created around 1036 CE for the language of the Western Xia kingdom. It was modeled partly on Chinese and Khitan writing systems, yet records a different language. Tangut served Western Xia government and Buddhist translation, remained in use after the kingdom ended, and was obsolete by the end of the Ming period.
A historical Tangut character; today it appears in scholarship and reproductions of Tangut texts.
Do not read it as Chinese: it belongs to Tangut, a different script for a different language.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗢜 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
