What 𗤃 means
It means “not exist” or “not have” in Tangut.
Dictionaries also shorten the gloss to “not,” but the fuller sense concerns something not existing or not being had. Tangut is a separate language and script; its character designs drew on Chinese writing, but 𗤃 is Tangut, not Chinese.
Tangut writing took shape in the 11th century under the Western Xia state, for government work and Buddhist and classical translations. Surviving texts include Buddhist works, laws, and legal codes from the mid-11th century through the early 13th century. After the Mongol conquest, Tangut fell out of everyday use.
Historical and specialized; read its meaning in the surrounding Tangut text.
Do not treat it as a Chinese character meaning simply “no.”

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗤃 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
