What 𗧰 means
It means “open wide” as a Tangut verb. Tangut was the now-extinct language recorded with this script.
Li Yuanhao, the Western Xia ruler, introduced the script. Its forms drew on Chinese characters and scripts created by the Khitan people, but it records Tangut, a separate language. The script served both Buddhist translation and a distinct state identity; accounts differ on which purpose came first. Tangut texts continued in Buddhist settings after Western Xia fell.
A historical verb from Tangut writing; without a gloss, it has no obvious conversational meaning.
Sent alone, it can look like an unexplained glyph rather than a clear request.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗧰 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
