What 𗩤 means

It echoes Chinese calligraphy, but 𗩤 is not a Chinese character. The Western Xia (Xixia) court made Tangut writing official in 1036 to give its state a script of its own.

Questions people ask

1

Why does 𗩤 show as a box on some devices?

Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
