What 𗬒 means
𗬒 is a Tangut character; its label is not a translation.
The Unicode name is derived from the code point, so it identifies the encoded character without giving the Tangut word or how it sounded. Tangut was the language of the Western Xia kingdom.
If 𗬒 appears as a blank or box, the font or app may not support Tangut characters.
Why was Tangut writing created?
Li Yuanhao ordered it as part of building a Tangut state.
The script was created in 1036. Its designers followed earlier Khitan script-making and drew on the look and character-building principles of Chinese writing. Tangut writing was inspired by Chinese forms, but it was not derived from Chinese.
It appeared in official documents, Buddhist translations, printed books and inscriptions. Writing continued after the Western Xia fell in 1227; the latest known Tangut inscription is dated 1502.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗬒 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
