What 𗭑 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses it as “night.”
Tangut was a language spoken in Western Xia, a state in what is now northwestern China. Its script was created under the state’s first emperor in 1036 for state-building; a Tangut Buddhist canon (collection of scriptures) was likely a main purpose. Though inspired by Chinese writing, Tangut was distinct and followed earlier scripts of neighboring Khitan people. Tangut writing served Buddhist, translated Chinese, and secular texts. A manuscript fragment from Khara-Khoto (Inner Mongolia) probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century. The script continued under the Yuan and Ming dynasties, then became obsolete.

1Why does 𗭑 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
