What 𗭕 means
Its dictionary entry points to “to trample.” In Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary, the entry for 𗭕 is L2008-3944 and redirects to L2008-3945, glossed “to trample.” This is a dictionary cross-reference, not evidence that the two glyphs are interchangeable.
Yeli Renrong is credited with designing the Tangut script in 1036. It served the Western Xia kingdom in government records and schools, and for Buddhist translation and woodblock printing. Tangut writing survived the kingdom’s fall in 1227; a stone pillar carved with Buddhist spells was erected in 1502.
If 𗭕 appears as a box or is absent, the font may lack Tangut coverage. Tangut fonts can draw its strokes differently; the chart drawing is a reference, not a required design.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗭕 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
