What 𗰇 means

A pond or pool.

A Tangut–Chinese dictionary pairs it with 池, the Chinese character for “pond” or “pool.”

Western Xia promulgated Tangut around 1036 for state use; tradition credits its compilation to scholar Yeli Renrong. Its square design draws on Chinese characters, but Tangut is a distinct script shaped by earlier Khitan state-script models. A court-case record from about 1070–71 is among the earliest surviving examples. Tangut wrote state and school texts, Buddhist translations from Chinese and Tibetan, and the inscriptions on a Buddhist pillar in 1502, centuries after Western Xia fell.

A historical Tangut word drawn by a font, not emoji artwork.

If it shows as a box, the font may lack Tangut glyphs.

Questions people ask

1

Why does 𗰇 show as a box on some devices?

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
