What 𗲑 means
It means “dangerous” in Tangut. The 2008 Tangut–Chinese dictionary gives this gloss for 𗲑.
A state script outlived its empire
Li Yuanhao commissioned Tangut writing for the Western Xia state in 1036; court official Yeli Renrong is credited among its makers. Its shapes drew on Chinese character design, and the neighboring Khitan people's earlier scripts offered a model for a distinct state script. It served official and literary writing, including Buddhist texts. Tangut writing continued after Western Xia fell in 1227; a surviving inscription is dated 1502.
