What 𗴄 means
17D04 identifies the sign; it does not translate its Tangut meaning.
𗴄 belongs to the writing system for Tangut, a historical language of Western Xia. Western Xia commissioned Tangut writing in 1036 for administration and Buddhist translation. The state fell in 1227, but a Buddhist edition printed in 1247 shows that Tangut printing continued afterward.
